Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services.
Fifth Third Bancorp is a diversified financial services company. Fifth Third operates four main businesses: Commercial Banking, Branch Banking, Consumer Lending, and Wealth & Asset Management. We are among the largest money managers in the Midwest.
We serve communities throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia and North Carolina through nearly 2,000 full-service Banking Centers. In addition we deliver convenience through Online Banking, Online Bill Payment, Mobile Banking and our network of more than 45,000 fee-free ATMs.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
We enjoy the Chamber events for the networking and thought leadership. They are a great way to engage new members of the team or help others stay up to date on what’s happening in our region.
How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
I spend a significant amount of time working with clients and partners to understand their business. I listen to their opportunities and challenges and often times I hear similarities in their stories. I stay up to date on the industry through various media outlets and publications.
What is your company culture like?
At Fifth Third Bank we’ve created a culture that supports ideas and innovation, empowers individuals and values diversity. As a result, we are a hard working team that is able to consistently exceed expectations and provide solutions to our customers.
What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
Success at Fifth Third begins with embracing and living the Bank’s core values. Our Core Values guide us and are woven into the fabric of everything we do. What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus is a friendly place to do business. I find it’s easy to work with people and there is a genuine authenticity to people who live and work in this region.
What pieces of advice have you found to be the most helpful since starting your career?
I believe in sticking to the basics of accountability, such as working hard, being prepared and on time, are tried- and-true pieces of advice. I also can’t underestimate the value of being a strong communicator. It’s important to ask questions, listen intently and seek understanding when making connections.
How do you achieve a work/life balance?
I enjoy what I do and I understand that work is with us 24/7, but I also don’t let work consume my life. I take time to live in the moment outside of work.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside the office?
We have had several team meetings at Pinnacle Golf Club. It’s a nice venue and the staff is very accommodating.
