Provide us with a brief summary of your business’ services.
The Craveable Creations team has decades of experience in research & development, manufacturing, and sales of high quality menu items. Craveable is a sales force created by our sister companies: Sunrise Foods – which has been manufacturing consistent, high quality proteins and sauces in Columbus for more than four decades, and Jump International – which has been selling a consistent branded concept for over two decades. Together, as Craveable Creations, we are able to provide our customers with a wide variety of traditional or completely customizable dishes,

Though our company is not family owned, we do strive to make it feel like a family.  We are a small business, and we take pride in curating an environment where people not only work together, but get to know each other as friends as well. Comradery creates a more productive work environment; people are more inclined to help one another when they have mutual trust and respect.

What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
We definitely look forward to utilizing the networking potential the Chamber provides. Their CEO Insights and other events provide ample opportunity for connecting with other local companies. We hope to become a respected member of both the chamber and the Columbus business community.

What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus is always evolving, and the population is diverse and always increasing.  This is very enticing for those of us in the food manufacturing business, as it gives us a constantly expanding market of potential customers. With access to countless different cuisines in the greater Columbus area, we are always able to try new products.  This allows us to stay innovative and provide the best and newest products to our customers.

What pieces of advice have you found to be the most helpful since starting your career?
Keep it simple. If you focus on correctly executing the basics, the larger problems will fall in line.  Many times we can get overwhelmed with a project, the best solution is to focus on doing what you can and taking it one step at a time.

How do you achieve a work/life balance?
A proper balance between life and work is crucial. Being able to separate work from your personal life definitely plays a role. Knowing that I have done all I can that day when I leave the office provides reassurance and allows me to focus on spending time with family and friends.

Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside the office?

It’s hard to pick one spot, we like to constantly be trying new things!  Being in the food industry, we thoroughly enjoy trying out new restaurants. Not only does this create a relaxed environment, it also allows us to try new cuisines and see if they are applicable to us.
