Tell us about your company’s mission and values.
We’re in the process of refreshing our company values, having just completed a company wide ‘bracket-style’ initiative, so that all team members could have a hand in shaping the direction of the company. While we’re still building out the final mission statement and values, we can guarantee that SAFETY will always come first. For our team members and our customers.
What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
Networking. Excited for more community involvement as we start to open back up
How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
We have a great network of other commercial roofing businesses of similar sizes across the country. We attend industry events and share best practices with each other.
Please describe your company culture.
We have a new subcommittee called the ‘Culture Committee’ that meets monthly to champion culture initiatives. Some of the things we’ve implemented in the past year include WFH policies and dress code changes. We’ve set up channels to continue to listen and evolve with input from our team members, with more changes on the way!
What defines a successful employee at your company?
A successful employee, or ‘team member’ as we call them is not only a good fit in their professional role but a good fit culturally as well. We are a family-owned company where collaboration is key. You’ll be expected to wear many hats from time to time but you can trust the leadership and our resources that we want you to be successful. The customer, team member and company to all succeed is a win-win-win.
What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus is an amazing city with tremendous resources. You have industry leading companies in banking, retail, health and education. Geographically too, Columbus is in a great place with easy routes to the Atlantic, MidWest, and South with room for expansion within the metro area. The people of Columbus are salt of the earth. We just celebrated our 20 year anniversary of having an office in Central Ohio and we’re even more excited about the next 20!
