Dublin, Ohio (October 9, 2020) – BMI Federal Credit Union hosts a Thanksgiving Food Drive and free shred event to celebrate International Credit Union Day. In the spirit of people helping people, the purpose of the event is to show appreciation for the Credit Union’s members, and to help give back to the community. The event will be held for two days at three BMI FCU branches, and is open to the public.
Up to three boxes or bags per car will be accepted for shredding. Visitors are encouraged to bring a monetary or non-perishable Thanksgiving Day food item for donation. All donations from the Thanksgiving food drive will be given to the Byron Saunders Foundation. More information can be found on their website at www.bmifcu.org/news/ICU_day.
For proper health and safety measures, the event will take place outside the following BMI FCU branches and follow recommended guidelines:
Thursday, October 15 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at their Dublin Branch
Thursday, October 15 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at their Westerville Branch
Friday, October 16 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at their Kinnear Branch
The Credit Union welcomes the community to join them for International Credit Union Day, and help spread the word that together, we are people helping people.
