Buy Vet is hosting a Virtual 5K Stroll/Walk/Run fundraiser in honor of Armed Forces Day on May 15, 2021. The cost of the race is $35.00. Participants will receive a tee-shirt, medal, downloadable bib and a method to track your run. All proceeds will go to support Vet-Ohio a veteran event scheduled for Thursday, September 9, 2021. Buy Vet is a registered as a 501 (c) (3) organization and our mission is to promote, support and advocate for veteran owned businesses. We will accomplish this in 3 ways: (1) Creation of an app that will be a one stop shop resource “Vet List” of Veteran Owned Businesses, (2) Create a “Vet Net” i.e. Veteran Entrepreneur Network by sponsoring networking opportunities to grow veteran businesses, and (3) Promote a “Buy Veteran” shoppers week each year in conjunction with Veterans Day!
