The Center for International Career Advancement (The CICA) is honored to announced that we have appointed two exceptional executives to our Board of Directors, Jennifer Byrne, and Sachin Latawa. Jennifer and Sachin join us after their successful tenures as Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft US and Chief Financial Officer of Icahn Enterprises Real Estate. We are thrilled that they will be helping to share the future growth and strategy of The CICA.
Jennifer Byrne
Jennifer advises startup founders and emerging leaders after having spent over two decades working across the corporate landscape within the technology industry.
In her previous role as Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft US, Jennifer worked with companies and organizations to re-frame their business opportunities in digital terms. She infused innovation practices into Microsoft’s technical field teams which led to high-value and well-publicized digital transformation strategies with top global companies.
Jennifer led the fifteen Microsoft Technology Centers across the US, hosting thousands of customers and community events each year. In previous roles at Microsoft, she was responsible for global market expansion initiatives. She joined Microsoft as the Chief Security Officer for the Worldwide Public Sector Division in 2014.
Before Microsoft, Jennifer was a leader in Cybersecurity at companies such as Intel, McAfee and Symantec. She began her career in technology as an Information Security Analyst and Engineer serving US Government clients.
Her first career, which remains her passion today, was in the non-profit world working with under-served populations.
Sachin Latawa
Sachin is the Founder and CEO of home kloud, a real estate fund investing in single-family rental homes. Sachin has extensive C-Suite experience in working with Private Equity portfolio companies, Mergers & Acquisitions, Portfolio Management and Capital Market Transactions.
Sachin previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Icahn Enterprises Real Estate where he directed all acquisition, divestiture, financial reporting, asset management, leasing, human resources and financial planning activities and was responsible for overseeing $1 Billion in AUM.
Before joining Icahn Enterprises, Sachin served as the Vice President M&A with Fortress Private Equity Group and Transaction Services Director with PwC where he led M&A, IPO and advisory engagements for various Private Equity Firms.
Sachin also currently serves as a Board Advisor to various other startup companies and advises them on strategy and growth.
