computer knowledge utilizing the Northstar Digital Literacy assessment in a variety of areas, including:

- Microsoft Excel/ PowerPoint/Word iInformation
In as little as ten weeks, candidates age 17-29 from Franklin or Madison county can learn entrylevel IT support skills through the CompTIA A+ course work, can benefit from job-readiness and soft skills training, get job placement assistance and earn A+ certification. Tuition, books, and exam fees are all covered through a U.S. Department of Labor grant, so there is no cost to you to become an IT professional. The course prepares you for jobs like: IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, Technical Support Analyst, Desktop Support Technician and PC and Hardware Repair.
