Tell us about your company’s mission and values
We pride ourselves on the quality of our oils and vinegars, which are rigorously tested for freshness and nutritional content. We source our oils seasonally throughout the entire globe and enjoy bringing an international flair to our customer’s cooking. At Green Olive Company our vision is to create positive change in the world through community outreach and education. We achieve this end through our corporate partnerships, community partnerships, and philanthropic commitments. Our mission is to support optimal health and personal development – physically, mentally, and beyond. We believe that wellness in a company is what makes it succeed: from our employees to our customers. We provide support and resources to aid those around us to achieve their own version of wellness.
What are the services you use the most (or are looking forward to using) from the Columbus Chamber?
Networking! We joined the Chamber to stay more engaged in the business scene of Columbus. We have made some great connections and love serving businesses big and small. Our Chamber Resource Manager has been great about introducing us to potential partnerships and we look forward to developing more relationships.
How do you stay engaged with trends that you see in your industry?
There are a lot of great resources and information that we get from our oil and vinegar suppliers. Harvests range from various areas of the world, so you have to stay on top of where the best oils are coming from.
What people don’t think about is that extra virgin olive oil is a fresh-squeezed juice and should be used within 12 months of harvest. Extra virgin olive oil is perishable and unlike wine, it doesn’t improve with age. That’s why it’s important to have fresh oils and know what regions are producing great oils that are in-season.
We have a variety of olive oils that are fused and infused with flavors such as Lemon, Orange, Rosemary, etc. Using flavored oils can make a big difference in your recipes. We love experimenting with the flavors, and seeing what some of our restaurant partners do with our oils and vinegars.
What is your company culture like?
We want to create an environment where great people can do great work. A place where people can be themselves, use their creativity, and be pushed to continuously learn and develop new skills.

We love being a part of the business community here in Columbus. Although it’s a large city, it has a small town feel when it comes to working with other local businesses and organizations.
