We participate in our professional membership groups locally and nationally, as well as continually reading publications and online forums.
What is your company culture like?
By the nature of the consulting business, we have a high paced environment. That being said, we continually strive to have fun, have a supportive team environment and work on our work/life balance!
What does it take to be a successful employee at your company?
A successful staff member is adaptable, collaborative and focused on the client. It is also necessary to be curious, continually learning to excel!
What makes Columbus such a great place to do business?
Columbus is a supportive atmosphere with diverse businesses. Other business owners are willing to offer advice, make introductions and share their success stories.
What pieces of advice have you found to be the most helpful since starting your career?
Focus on maximizing your own strengths rather than trying to ‘fix’ all your weaknesses and don’t be afraid to ‘be human.’ As a result, we utilize “Now, Discover Your Strengths” for all new staff members.
How do you achieve a work/life balance?
I read somewhere that there isn’t such a thing as work/life balance, it is more like a seesaw continually up and down! That resonated with me. But seriously, we are committed to helping each other balance our work loads and our personal needs. I exercise to keep life in perspective.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside the office?
Walking or having a cup of coffee – no specific venue.
